TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball program won a Region 18 Championship, a District Championship and tied for 9th at the NJCAA National Tournament. On Monday, the Golden Eagles were named a NJCAA All-Academic team with a 3.49 overall gpa, the second highest men's basketball gpa in the country.
Austin Starr and
Casdon Jardine each finished the year with a 4.0 gpa, earning NJCAAÂ All-Academic First Team honors.
Being named to the NJCAAÂ All-Academic Second Team for a gpa between 3.80 and 3.99 was
Jake Hendricks and Mubarak Muhammed.
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honorees for a gpa between 3.60 and 3.79 were Deishuan Booker,
Jonathan Nwankwo and
Josiah Barsh.
