HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team struggled to get anything going Friday in the Region 18 Tournament, falling to Southern Nevada 15-2 and ending the Golden Eagles season.
CSI had no answer for the Coyotes hot hitting. Southern Nevada scored in every inning capping it off with a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth to end the game.
The Golden Eagles scored their two runs in the top of the fifth, finishing the game with seven hits.
Justin Mannens was 2-for-4 and
Trevor Lippard finished the day 2-for-3 with one RBI and a double.
CSI ends its season at 20-27 overall.
