TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team led by just five points at the half but shot 51 percent from the field in the second half to pull away to beat Elite Prep 112-90 Friday in the ICCU Invitational.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 18 3-pointers, led by
Khalid Thomas's 7-for-10 performance. Thomas finished the game with 32 points and four rebounds.
Four other players finished with double-digit scoring.
Charles Jones Jr. posted 16 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Keegan Hansen and
Danya Kingsby added 15 points apiece.
Jake Hendricks had 11 points.
Roberto Gittens came close to a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds.
The Golden Eagles, now 6-1 overall, play Arizona Western Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Arizona Western defeated Treasure Valley 99-93 earlier in the tournament Friday.
