TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team ran away with the 128-86 win over Columbia Basin CC in the opening game of the Wright Physical Therapy Shootout.
Seven Golden Eagles scored in double digits, knocking down 55 percent of their shots from the field.
Leading the way for CSI was
Khalid Thomas with 22 points and 12 rebounds. He was 7-for-10 from the field and 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Roche Grootfaam added 16 points and four rebounds and
Nico Aguirre Urritia had 14 points and six assists.
Jake Hendricks put together a complete game for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 11 points, six assists and four rebounds, while
Malik Porter had 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Golden Eagles, now 4-1 overall, plays Treasure Valley Saturday at 7:30 p.m. TVCC beat USU Eastern 90-78 in the early game Friday.
