Box Score PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team cruised to a 41-26 lead through the first half Saturday against USU Eastern and then held off a Eagle comeback late to win 67-60.
The Golden Eagles shot 59 percent from the field in the first half and managed just 24 percent in the second half. Still, it was good enough as CSI was able to knock down 9-of-10 from the free-throw line in the final quarter.
Ariel Augustine led the Golden Eagles with 24 points and six rebounds.
Tiena Afu added six points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Brianna Osorio finished the game with eight points, five rebounds and two assists.
The Golden Eagles, now 14-8 overall and 5-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, travel to Snow College Tuesday.
