SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team put together one of its best performances of the season, beating 16th-ranked Salt Lake CC 78-67 Saturday.
The Golden Eagles led for 37 minutes of the game and every time the Bruins challenged, CSI had an answer.
One of the biggest keys to the game was CSI's free-throw shooting. The Golden Eagles finished the game 16-for-18 for 89 percent.
Leading the way for CSI was 
Ar'Mond Davis, who scored 24 points to go with 12 rebounds. 
Pape Diatta added 18 points and eight rebounds. 
Shaq Carr, who played for all 40 minutes, posted 12 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.
The Golden Eagles used a solid long-ball attack to distance themselves. CSI finished the game 12-of-35 from beyond the arc.
CSI, now 19-6 overall and 7-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, pulled into a tie for second place with Salt Lake. The Golden Eagles have won four straight and five of their last six games.
