TWIN FALLS - The seventh-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team came out sluggish Thursday but got some easy transition buckets and pulled away, beating USU Eastern 80-59.
CSI forced 26 turnovers and scored 22 fast-break points to run past the Golden Eagles of Price.
Brianna Osorio led CSI with 24 points. She added four rebounds, five steals and two assists.
Kandiss Barber finished with a double-double, scoring 19 points to go with 10 rebounds.
Matti Ventling was the only other CSI player to score in double figures, finishing with 12 points. She had a solid night, adding four rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Samantha Lubcke led all rebounders with 12.
CSI, now 21-1 overall and 6-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, hosts Colorado Northwestern CC Saturday at 3 p.m.
