ONTARIO, Ore. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team picked up in 2016 where it left off in 2015 with a win, beating Northwest College 77-59 Friday in the Treasure Valley CC Tournament.
The win makes it four straight for the Golden Eagles, who are now 13-4 overall.
Leading the way was
Shaq Carr. The sophomore point guard finished the game with 22 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Ar'Mond Davis was on fire from beyond the arc, knocking down five 3-pointers en route to 19 points. He added three rebounds and two assists.
Pape Diatta led the Eagles on the boards, finishing with nine rebounds.
CSI takes on Treasure Valley Saturday at 8 p.m. The Golden Eagle women will play the Chukars as well at 6 p.m.
Both teams return to SWAC play next week, hosting Salt Lake CC Thursday, Jan. 7 and Snow College Saturday, Jan. 9.
