TWIN FALLS - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team used defensive pressure and a fast-paced game to run away with the 96-52 win over Chemeketa Saturday in the final day of the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
CSI knocked down 54 percent of their shots and scored 25 of their points on fast breaks and 60 points in the paint.
The Golden Eagles took a 47-23 lead into the locker room at the half and were able to play deep into their bench in the second half. Of CSI's 96 points, 66 came from players who did not start the game.
Kandiss Barber led CSI with 23 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Lucija Billic added 17 points and five rebounds.
Ma Kenzie VanSickle did a good job distributing the ball, finishing with 10 assists to go with seven points and three steals.
Alexia Mefi scored 13 points, while Ariel Augustin had five points and eight rebounds.
CSI improves to 12-0 on the season.
