RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team used a solid defensive effort to beat Colorado Northwestern 58-41 Thursday.
With the win, the Golden Eagles move to 1-1 in league play and 10-4 overall.
CSI held the Spartans to just 16 first-half points and a field-goal percentage of 33 percent for the game.
Three Golden Eagles scored in double digits.
Ar'Mond Davis and
Pape Diatta each scored 12, while
Shaq Carr added 10. Both Carr and Diatta pulled down six rebounds and Carr posted four assists.
CSI plays at USU Eastern Saturday at 5 p.m.
