TWIN FALLS - The third-ranked College of Southern Idaho volleyball team defeated #19 Hutchinson CC 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-15 and Central Arizona 25-17, 25-19, 25-18 Friday in the first day of the Starr Corporation Invitational.
Against Hutchinson,
Chloe Watson dominated at net, posting 17 kills along with 2 blocks and seven digs.
Jessi Seumalo added eight kills and four blocks.
In the Central Arizona match, no CSI hitter finished with double-digit kills. Watson, Seumalo and
Pati Anae each had seven. Setter K. Kojic ended the match with 16 kills and seven digs for the Eagles.
The Golden Eagles play Northwest College at 1 p.m. Saturday and Casper College at 3 p.m.
