#4 CSI SB wins 3 of 4 over SLCC

TWIN FALLS - The 4th-ranked College of Southern Idaho softball bounced back from an opening series 12-10 loss to Salt Lake Friday to take three straight 12-4, 5-4, 5-2 and increase the Golden Eagles lead in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.
CSI, 37-13 overall and 31-9 in SWAC play, hold a 4 1/2 game lead on Salt Lake with the wins.
Leading the way at the plate this weekend was Aubrey Whitmer. The sophomore shortstop finished the weekend 9-of-13 with 4 RBI. Teammate Carley White went 7-for-13.
The Golden Eagles posted 53 hits in the four-game series.
In the Circle, Brandi Hall led CSI with two wins and 10 strikeouts.
CSI travels to Snow and North Idaho before returning for a Tuesday doubleheader against Treasure Valley.
