Box Score 4 TWIN FALLS - The 9th-ranked College of Southern Idaho softball team took three out of four games from 3rd-ranked College of Southern Nevada Friday and Saturday to move into first place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference race.
The Golden Eagles beat Southern Nevada 9-3 Friday before falling in the late game 11-2. On Saturday, CSI rebounded to win 6-5 and 9-7.
Sierra Whitmer earned two wins this weekend in the circle.
Colby Argyle led the Eagles at the plate, hitting .833.
Shea Ibrahim finished 5-for-11 with a double and 3 RBI.
CSI, which improved to 30-12 overall and 24-8 in the SWAC, travels to Colorado Northwestern Friday and Saturday.
