EPHRAIM, Utah - The 10th-ranked CSI men's basketball team lost to Salt Lake CC 62-49 Saturday in the Region 18 Championship.
The Golden Eagles struggled to shoot the ball all night, scoring just 22 points in the first half and hitting just 18 of 58 from the field for the game.
From beyond the arc, CSI hit 6-of-26 and from the free-throw line CSI was 7-of-14.
Fredrick Edmond led the Golden Eagles with 15 points.
Montigo Alford added 11.
Alford and
Dallas Anglin were named to the all-tournament team.
CSI still has a chance to make the NJCAA National Tourney via an at-large berth.
