TWIN FALLS - The 18th-ranked College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team looked flat coming off a loss Friday night but found its rhythm and rolled in the second half to beat Chemeketa CC 84-46 Saturday in the Fisher's Technology Invitational.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 54 percent of their shots in the second half and out-rebounded Chemeketa 70-39 for the game. They distributed the ball well, finishing with 20 assists, led by Holly Blade's five.
Blades added 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Leading scorer in the game was Elisabet Lopez-Sagrera with 19 points and seven rebounds.
Alexia Mefi cleaned up the boards with 15 for the game.
CSI, 8-4 overall, enter Scenic West Athletic Conference play this week, hosting North Idaho College Saturday.
In the earlier game Saturday, USU-Eastern beat Lethbridge 85-78.
