CASPER, Wyo. - The College of Southern Idaho volleyball team fed the ball to its outside hitters and pulled out a 27-25, 26-24, 24-26, 21-25, 15-12 victory over Missouri State University - West Plains Thursday in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA National Tournament.
Natasa Savovic and
Chloe Watson combined for 42 kills and each added seven digs to lead the Golden Eagles into the semifinals Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Blinn College. Blinn, the defending national champions, is coached by former CSI assistant coach Erin Mellinger.
Other standout performances included
Katarina Kojic's 58 assists and eight digs and
Lepeka Kalulu-Sugai's 26 digs.
