CASPER, Wyo. - The College of Southern Idaho distributed the ball to all its hitters in swinging past New Mexico Military 25-15, 25-21, 25-7 Thursday in the opening round of the NJCAA National Championship.
The Golden Eagles hit .309, posting 45 kills to just 20 for New Mexico.
Natasa Savovic led CSI with 11 kills and three aces. Teammates
Kendall Brock and
Chloe Watson each added 10 kills.
Katarina Kojic finished the match with 35 assists, 12 digs and two blocks.
CSI will play Missouri State University-West Plains at 5:30 p.m. today. MSU-WP beat Salt Lake CC in four.
