TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team trailed by 10 points with 2:19 left in the game Saturday against Snow College but found a way to score 12 straight points and pull off the 66-64 win in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Keying the comeback was
Fredrick Edmond,
Shaquille Jones and
Trevor Bamgartner.
Edmond scored five of the remaining 12 points with three free throws and a field goal, finishing the game with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Bamgartner hit a 3-pointer with 56 seconds in the game to tie is up at 64.
But perhaps the biggest impact of the night came from Jones. After sitting all of the second half until the last two minutes, he came in and sparked the Golden Eagles. In those final minutes, he scored four points, pulled down four rebounds and had a steal.
The 15th-ranked Golden Eagles, 15-2 overall and 3-1 in league play, travel to North Idaho next Saturday.
