CSI Softball rolls to 300th program win

HENDERSON, Nev. - Despite a loss in game 2 Friday against College of Southern Nevada, the College of Southern Idaho posted three wins on the weekend and brought home the program's 300th win.
The Golden Eagles beat CSN 10-2 Friday before losing 12-4. On Saturday, CSI won game one 8-4 posting the programs 300th win and added another win in game two 11-2.
With the wins, CSI improves to 32-6 overall and 26-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, remaining tied with Salt Lake for the league lead.
Aubrey Whitmer led the Eagles at the plate, going 7-13 on the weekend with 7 RBI. Her sister Sierra Whitmer imrpoved to 14-0 in the circle, posting two more wins.
Overall, the Golden Eagle program and head coach Nick Baumert is 301-130-2 in its 7th season.
CSI travels to Colorado Northwestern this weekend for a four-game series.
