TWIN FALLS - The 4th-ranked College of Southern Idaho volleyball team set the tone early in beating 13th-ranked Snow College 25-18, 28-26, 21-25, 25-20 Saturday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The Golden Eagles hit .423 in game 1 to .154 for Snow.
Mercedes Vaughn led the Eagles with 14 kills in the middle for the match. She added four blocks.
Jessi Seumalo added 7 blocks.
Lepeka Kalulu-Sugai also had a solid night for CSI, finishing with 9 kills, 2 service aces and six digs.
CSI, 15-6 overall and 3-1 in conference action, travels to 6th-ranked Western Wyoming Monday before hosting 16th-ranked North Idaho Saturday at 1 p.m.
