TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho volleyball improved to 4-0 on the young season with two 3-set victories Saturday in the Buffalo Wild Wings Invitational.
The Golden Eagles beat Sheridan College 25-1, 25-14, 25-9 early and then followed with a 25-18, 25-14, 25-21 victory over 18th-ranked Casper College.
Keani Passi led CSI in the opener with eight aces and nine kills.
Against Casper,
Liene Mellupe,
Tineke Bierma and Passi all had eight kills to lead the CSI attack.
Kaylee Holmstead added seven kills and seven blocks.
The Golden Eagles travel to Salt Lake next weekend.
