SALT LAKE CITY - Salt Lake CC softball kept CSI off balance all day, defeating the Eagles 8-0 in five innings of the Region 18 Tournament.
CSI will play Snow at 11 a.m. Saturday with the winner advancing to the Region 18 Championship at 1:30 p.m.
Golden Eagle starting pitcher Nellie Makings and SLCC's MaCauley Flint battled to a draw into the bottom of the fourth but then a CSI error and timely hitting by SLCC blew the game open.
CSI's only hit came from Kylee Hogue.
