SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho beat Salt Lake CC 8-5 in Saturday's first game but fell to the Bruins 6-4 and 13-10 on Friday and 10-0 Saturday.
Golden Eagle Chase Harris continued his torrid pace at the plate, going 8-for-14 with two triples, one home run and eight RBI. Parker Webster also had a solid weekend, finishing 5-for-11 with two doubles and two RBI.
Tyler Dunnington earned the only victory on the mound for CSI, coming in to throw three innings and give two hits and no earned runs.
The Golden Eagles remain in third place in the Scenic West Athletic conference, staying two games ahead of Southern Nevada. Salt Lake holds a slim lead in the league over second-place Western Nevada.
CSI hosts Western Nevada Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at noon for doubleheaders.
