EPHRAIM, Utah - One week after struggling to put all the pieces together, the Golden Eagle softball team beat Snow College in all four games to regain second place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.
CSI beat Snow 11-7, 11-5 and 7-1 on Friday and finished off the weekend Saturday with a 5-4 victory.
Tyler Wilkinson and Patti Ferguson led the Eagles at the plate. Wilkinson finished 6-for-14 with six RBI, two doubls and two triples. Ferguson added three home runs in a 5-for-9 performance and 8 RBI.
The Golden Eagles were solid offensively but the pitching of Jessi Duncan was key.
Duncan posted a 0.00 ERA, earning one win and one save. In 11 innings, she gave up just four hits, one run and one walk.
CSI improves to 36-14 overall and 28-9 in league play. The Golden Eagles travel to North Idaho College next weekend.
