TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho softball team's 13-game winning streak came to an end this weekend, when the Eagles lost four straight to 3rd-ranked Salt Lake CC 13-3, 4-1, 9-5 and 7-0 Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Eagles struggled offensively and defensively all weekend.
Gabby Stacey and
TJ Surrage led CSI at the plate, going 4-for-11.
Grace Combs pitched only 1.2 innings but was the only Eagle pitcher to give up no runs.
CSI drops to 32-14 overall and 24-9 in league play. The Golden Eagles travel to Snow College this weekend.
