CSI baseball finishes 1-3 at home

TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho baseball team moved to 5-3 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference race after winning one of four games against College of Southern Nevada Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Eagles fell in game 1 Friday 13-2 before rebounding to win 6-3. On Saturday, CSI fell 7-5 and 5-4.
Luke Miller swung the bat the best for the Golden Eagles all weekend, going 6-for-14 with four doubles and four RBI.
In the Golden Eagles win, Eric Holdren threw 7.1 innings, giving up just two earned runs with six strikeouts. Andrew Freter also was impressive on the mound for CSI, throwing 4.1 innings on the weekend with three strikeouts and no runs.
CSI moves to 15-8 overall.
