TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 12-ranked College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team knocked off fifth-ranked Salt Lake CC 76-68 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference action.
The Golden Eagles struggled all night from the free-throw line (21-40) but knocked down key shots and forced SLCC into 23 turnovers.
Fabyon Harris led the Eagles with 26 points and seven rebounds. Rafriel Guthrie added 13 points and 14 rebounds despite hitting just 5 of 14 free throws.
All five Bruin starters scored in double figures led by Skyler Halford with 18. Former CSI player Louis Garrett finished the game with 11 points.
CSI improves to 14-1 on the season overall and 1-0 in SWAC play. The Golden Eagles host Snow Saturday at 5 p.m.
