SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho baseball team outscored Salt Lake 24-23 over a four-game series but was only able to take the final Scenic West Athletic Conference game. Salt Lake beat the Eagles 5-4 and 3-2 on Friday and 8-5 in game one Saturday before CSI came back to beat the Bruins 13-7 in the nightcap.
The loss was third-ranked Salt Lake's first league loss of the year.
The Golden Eagles had chances all weekend, leaving runners stranded on the bases but found a way in game four to put more runs on the board. Trailing 7-2 through four innings, CSI scored eight runs in the top of the fifth and added three more in the seventh.
Kendal Maier began the rally with a double and hit a two-rbi double to score the Eagles final two runs in the inning.

Parker Morin and
Parker Webster Blake Liveley all added hits in the inning.
Cody White came into the game for the Golden Eagles with two outs in the fourth inning and threw 3.1 innings, giving up just two hits and no earned runs for the win.
CSI hosts Western Nevada Friday and Saturday. The Wildcats are in first place in the SWAC with a 12-0 record. Salt Lake stands in second at 11-1 and CSI is third at 8-4.
