RANGELY, Colo. - The 6th-ranked College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team fell to College of Eastern Utah 82-72 Friday night before defeating Colorado Northwestern 85-71 Saturday.
The Golden Eagles still remain in first place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference race, just one game ahead of second-place CEU.
Pierre Jackson led CSI both nights, scoring 21 points against CEU and 16 against CNCC. Inside,
Kenny Buckner did a good job rebounding, leading CSI with nine rebounds on Friday and eight on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles improve to 22-3 overall and 8-2 in SWAC play.
CSI travels to Snow College Friday and 23rd-ranked Salt Lake Saturday.
