TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 25th-ranked College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team lost to 17th-ranked North Idaho 63-55 Saturday in SWAC play.
The Golden Eagles pulled to within three points with three minutes to play in the game but three straight turnovers or missed shots helped the Cardinals seal the win.
CSI didn't have an answer for NIC guard Korina Baker. Baker finished the game with 20 points and six steals.
Mechela Barnes led the Golden Eagles with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals.
CSI drops to 20-8 overall and 7-6 in conference play.
The Golden Eagles host CEU Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
