SCOTTSBLUFF, Nebraska - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team improved to 10-1 overall, beating Laramie County CC 83-53 and Western Nebraska 72-67 in the Western Nebraska Tournament Friday and Saturday.
Luke Cothron led the Eagles against LCCC with 20 points and four rebounds, while
Fabyon Harris was CSI's leading scorer against Western Nebraska, hitting six 3-pointers en route to 21 points.
Pat Swilling keyed the Golden Eagles win against Western Nebraska with his defense, holding the Cougars leading scorer Raul Delgado to just 3-of-12 shooting for 11 points.
CSI returns home to host Raleigh's Finest Sports Academy Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Cape Fear Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Farmer's Insurance Challenge.
