TWIN FALLS - The 11th-ranked College of Southern Idaho men's basketball took a 48-29 halftime-lead into the lockerroom and coasted to an 84-62 victory over TAAG Academy Saturday in the final night of the Boise Office Equipment Invite.
The Golden Eagles dominated the first half, shooting 52 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free-throw line. They had only two turnovers as a team in the first half.
Four CSI players scored in double digits for the game, led by Rafriel Guthrie's 22 points. Jerran Foster sparked the Golden Eagles off the bench with four points, six assists and three steals in the point guard position.
CSI, 8-1 on the season, travels Western Nebraska for a tournament next week.
