TWIN FALLS - The 8th-ranked College of Southern Idaho volleyball team fell to 5th-ranked North Idaho College 19-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-16 Saturday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The loss all but guarantees the Golden Eagles a three seed in the Region 18 Tournament, while NIC only needs to sweep CNCC and CEU, the bottom two teams in the conference next week, to win the league and host the tournament.
If standings hold, Salt Lake will enter the tournament as the two seed.
