TWIN FALLS - The 6th-ranked College of Southern Idaho volleyball team took a 2-1 set lead against 5th-ranked Salt Lake CC Thursday but couldn't finish, falling to the Bruins 2 6-24, 23-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-11 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The loss drops CSI to 4-2 in conference play, one game behind Salt Lake. The Bruins improve to 5-1, their only loss coming at the hands of CSI at Salt Lake earlier this season.
Keani Passi led the Eagles with 18 kills, nine digs and four blocks, playing on the right side for the first time this season.
Scharae Steel added 11 kills, six digs and two blocks.
