TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball jumped out to a big lead in the first half and coasted Saturday, beating 11th-ranked North Idaho 99-83 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
After missing his first five shots, CSI's
Pierre Jackson hit three straight 3-pointers to spark the Golden Eagles early in the first half. Jackson finished the game with 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists and just one turnover.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 54 percent of their shots Saturday and 57 percent from 3-point range.
North Idaho was led by Tyrone White Jr.'s 25 points and nine rebounds.
CSI improves to 2-1 in league play, while NIC drops to 0-3.
