TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The Southern Idaho baseball team got its bats going Saturday, scoring 10 runs in a doubleheader with College of Eastern Utah, sweeping the Golden Eagles from Price, Utah 4-2 and 6-0.
CSI's pitchers gave up just four hits in each game, while the offense belted out 19 in the doubleheader.
Michael Wesner continued to contribute at the plate, going 4-5 on the day with five RBI. Teammate
Ryan Lay helped set the table for Wesner, hitting 5-for-6 and scoring three times.
Casey Lish posted his fifth win of the season, improving to 5-1 overall.
CSI, now 21-14 overall and 10-9 in conference play, travels to league-leading Southern Nevada Friday and Saturday.
