Trey Mohammed and
Chris Kerns combined to give up just five hits and shut out visiting Dawson CC 4-0 Monday in baseball action. The Golden also took the second game, winning 12-3.
After carrying a 1-1 tie into the fourth inning and falling behind 2-1, the Golden Eagle bats came alive in game two. Leading the way for CSI at the plate was
Dale Anderson who went 3-for-3 on the day.
Remington Pullin also had a big game, finishing 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
The Golden Eagles improve to 12-8 on the year. They host Salt Lake CC Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at noon for two SWAC doubleheaders
