VERNAL, Utah - After getting snowed out Friday, the 7th-ranked College of Southern Idaho softball team was able to play three games Saturday, beating Colorado NW 15-1, 13-0 and 18-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Mikkel Griffin went 9-for-12 with three doubles, three homeruns and eight RBI on the weekend, while
Kelsey Bryant and
Brittany Gonzales, each finished 6-for-11 with two doubles and four RBI apiece.
The Golden Eagles hit eight homeruns in the 3-game series.
CSI, which improved to 31-10 overall and 22-5 in conference play, hosts No. 1-ranked Salt Lake CC Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at noon.
