HENDERSON, Nev. - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho beat College of Southern Nevada 11-2 and 18-12 on Friday and 7-2 and 8-0 on Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Lyndi Miller ended game one 3 for 3 for teh Eagles with 3 RBIS, while
Brittany Gonzales went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs.
Generra Nielson won her 15th game of the year in the circle.
After trailing 10-0 through two innings in game two, the Golden Eagles fought back with 25 overall hits, including a grand slam by Eagle
Kayla Powell. Powell finished the game 3 for 4 with six RBIs.
With the score 12-5 in favor of Southern Nevada,
Generra Nielson entered the game and shut out the Coyotes the rest of the way, giving up no hits or runs. The Golden Eagles added eight runs in the fifth and five in the six for the final margin.
Generra Nielson added her third win of the weekend Saturday, giving up just five hits.
In game four, Golden Eagle pitcher
Kelsey Bryant posted her best performance of the year. She held CSN scoreless and gave up just two hits with one walk.
CSI improves to 28-10 overall and 19-5 in conference play. The Golden Eagles travel to Rangely, Colo. to take on Colorado NW Friday and Saturday.
