PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team put together two solid team efforts over the weekend to beat College of Eastern Utah 86-65 and Colorado NW 74-51.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles against CEU was
Laurel Kearsley. She shot 6-7 from the field and 6-6 from the stripe to score 18 points. She also posted 13 rebounds. In the game against CNCC, Kearsley added 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The wins keep the Golden Eagles in the hunt for the SWAC championship. CSI is tied with Snow at 9-5 in the league just two games back from North Idaho and Salt Lake, which are tied for first at 11-3
CSI and North Idaho travel to Salt Lake and Snow next weekend.
