CSI women's basketball makes it a sweep

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team beat 17th-ranked North Idaho 83-65 Saturday to make it a sweep of the Cardinals for the weekend.
The win pulls the Golden Eagles into a tie for second place with Snow College and North Idaho in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI shot an impressive 56 percent from the field Saturday and out-rebounded NIC 36-32 to pull away late.
Laurel Kearsley shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, including 2-for-2 from the 3-point line to scored 15 points for the Golden Eagles. She added nine rebounds, two steals and three blocked shots.
CSI, which improved to 20-8 overall and 12-8 in the SWAC, hosts Colorado NW Thursday and CEU Saturday to wrap up the regular season.
