TWIN FALLS, Idaho - With just eight players available to play Saturday night, the Golden Eagles battled all night, taking a 33-32 lead into the lockerroom at the half but ran out of steam eventually losing to 11th-ranked North Idaho 74-65 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Dennis Mikelonis was hot early, going 7-for-7 from the field with four 3-pointers and 18 points in the first half.
But it wasn't enough as North Idaho pulled away late behind the scoring of BJ Shearry, who led the Cardinals with 21 points, 17 rebounds and five blocked shots.
CSI hosts Colorado NW Thursday and CEU Saturday.
