EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball put together a great defensive effort Friday, shutting down the league's leading scorer Haley Holmstead and defeating Salt Lake 55-53. On Saturday, the Golden Eagles struggled to find the same consistency and lost to Snow 64-58.
CSI knocked down 82 percent of its free throws on Friday but managed just 50 percent on Saturday, getting to the line just 6 times all night.
CSI returns home to host North Idaho Friday and Saturday.
