PHOENIX, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho baseball team opened its season in Phoenix playing three different colleges over a four-day span.
The Golden Eagles defeated Gateway 4-2 Saturday, before losing two one-run games to South Mountain 6-5 and 2-1 Sunday. CSI rebounded to beat Gateway 8-3 Monday. The Golden Eagles finished their Arizona stretch by falling to Phoenix College 3-2 Tuesday.
CSI travels to Henderson, Nev. Wednesday to play Central Arizona on Friday, Cochise College in a doubleheader Saturday and Central Arizona on Sunday.
The Golden Eagles return home to host Prairie Baseball Academy for three straight doubleheaders at 1 p.m., starting Thursday, Feb. 18th.
