TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team opened its season with a win, defeating Eastern Arizona 81-61 in the Coca Cola Classic Thursday.

Laurel Kearsley was out of the game in foul trouble.
The Golden Eagles struggled from the free-throw line, hitting just 13 of 27 but won the game with their defensive pressure. CSI forced 34 turnovers for the game.
CSI takes on Sheridan College Friday at 6 p.m.
