PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho volleyball team got back on track Friday and Saturday, sweeping Scenic West Athletic Conference foes Colorado Northwestern 25-11, 25-18, 25-12 and College of Eastern Utah 25-18, 25-16, 25-14.
Every player on the Golden Eagle squad played in the Rangely, Colo. match with
Rosie Becerra leading CSI. The outside hitter put down 10 kills with just 2 errors on the night.
Against CEU,
Alyssa Everett shined in the middle. She had 9 kills with no errors in just 14 attempts and added 6 blocks.
Beth Carey added 11 kills and 3 blocks.
CSI improves to 17-5 overall and 2-1 in SWAC play.
The Golden Eagles host No. 2-ranked SLCC Thursday at 7 p.m. and Snow College Saturday at 4 p.m. The Badgers upset SLCC Friday, winning in 3 games.
