TWIN FALLS - College of Southern Idaho women's basketball player Maddy Plunkett scored 37 points Saturday to lead the Golden Eagles past Colorado Northwestern 105-66 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Plunkett's 37 points broke the previous single game scoring record of 36 points scored by former Eagle Maria Moore.
The Golden Eagles dominated the boards Saturday out-rebounding CNCC 55-27. Plunkett ended the game with 12 rebounds.
Laurel Kearsley also had a great night for the Eagles, finishing with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
The win takes CSI to 14-6 overall and 6-4 in league play.
CSI hosts Snow College next Thursday.
