CSI women defeat CEU 65-54 Thursday

TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team struggled from the field Thursday but played solid defense to beat College of Eastern Utah 65-54 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles of Twin shot just 36% from the field but forced 29 turnovers.
CSI's Laurel Kearsley played the most consistent, scoring seven points and pulling down seven rebounds. She added three assists and four steals.
The Golden Eagles improve to 13-6 on the season and 5-4 in league action. CSI hosts Colorado Northwestern Saturday at 3 p.m.
