PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho remained in a tie with North Idaho at 3-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play after the Golden Eagles defeated CEU 79-62 Saturday.
Shauneice Samms, the Region 18 Player of the year last season, led CSI with 20 points and 7 rebounds. In just her second game of the year, guard
Katreese Locket scored 11 points and added 6 assists.
Another key was the Golden Eagles free-throw shooting. CSI shot 88 percent for the game, hitting 15 of 17.
The win takes CSI to 8-3 overall. The Golden Eagles travel to Snow College Friday and league leading Salt Lake CC Saturday.
