SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho came up just a little bit short Saturday, losing to Scenic West Athletic Conference foe Salt Lake CC 66-63.
The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 3-3 in conference play and 9-4 overall.
Carrick Felix had a solid night for CSI, ending the game with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Golden Eagles travel to Las Vegas for the Desert Sun Classic Dec. 19-20th. CSI opens the tournament Saturday at 12:30 p.m. MST against Monroe College. If they win, they play the winner of Midland/Three Rivers at 12:30 p.m. MST Sunday. A loss pits the Golden Eagles against the loser of that game at 10 a.m. MST.
